Overview

The HID Aero x300 is a relay and monitoring expansion panel designed to extend control capabilities within the Drawbridge system. Connected to an Aero x1100 controller, the x300 is typically used for output-driven applications such as controlling external systems and monitoring specific input conditions.

It is best suited for environments requiring multiple control points, such as elevators, lighting systems, or other auxiliary devices.

Adding I/O Devices to the x300

The x300 supports both inputs and outputs, with a primary focus on outputs.

Steps to Add an I/O Point

1.Navigate to Devices

2.Select the x300 panel

3.Click the Add Device tab

4.Select the I/O type:

oInput (monitor point)

oOutput (control point)

5.Click Create

6.Configure the device as needed and click Save

Best Practices

Ensure the Address matches the physical device configuration.

Use descriptive naming for outputs (e.g., Elevator Floor 1 Relay, Lighting Control Output).

Group related outputs logically for easier management.

Verify communication with the x1100 before configuring outputs.
